U.S. Visa Application

The site http://travel.state.gov has information about obtaining a visa for those traveling to the United States. The site has links to websites for U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide. The embassy and consulate websites have very helpful information about procedures, timelines, communities served, required documentation, and fees.

International registrants should be particularly aware and careful about visa requirements, and should plan travel well in advance. All visa inquiries must be handled by ACM Headquarter. Please send your request for a visa support letter to supportletters@acm.org with the following information:

1. Name as it appears on your passport

2. Mailing address (if different)

3. The name of the conference you wish to attend

4. If you have any papers accepted for the conference, please indicate whether you are the sole author or a co-author, and provide the full title of the document

5. Registration confirmation number

Please note that ACM does not issue formal letters of invitation to any of its conferences.
